Herbal kadha to increase immunity
Relax Tired Eyes
Massaging: Gently massage your eyelids and around the eyebrows with your fingers for 20 seconds 2-3 times a day. Massaging at regular intervals not only relaxes the eye muscles but also improves blood circulation.
Palming: This technique is popular in yoga to treat eye ailments. Rub your palms to warm them. Now gently place your palms on your eyes for 2-3 minutes and relax. Palming gives your eyes and the muscles the much needed rest from bright light.
Cold milk: Strained eyes can be cooled down and relaxed by placing cotton or wash cloth soaked in cold milk over them. Place it on your eyes for 4-5 minutes and relax. If you are at work, you can use cold water instead of milk. A cold compress shrinks the blood vessels around the eyes, thereby reducing puffiness caused due to fatigue. Did you know cold milk can lighten dark circles too?

Homemade cough syrup
You need:
- 4 tbsp honey
- 6 cloves
- 1 medium size cinnamon stick broken in tiny pieces
- Dry roast the cloves and cinnamon pieces for 2-3 minutes or till they start popping and become fragrant. Grind them to a fine powder.
- Now mix the powder with honey in a small bowl and stir to incorporate the taste of the spices in the honey. Eat 3 spoonfuls of this before bed.
- You can prepare this mixture for 2-3 days and keep eating it every day if you still have a cough. The remedy works for both dry or regular cough.

I am not hungry anymore
3 p.m. I am at my desk, working, and hungry. I was trying to control my hunger for about an hour. That's when I had my organic shine-free apple. But, as we all know fruits don't fill up for a long time. Good for us though.
I craved for hot cup of coffee or milk. I am not much of a coffee-drinker. I consider myself an occasional only-office-vending-machine-coffee drinker. So, I grabbed a dollar from my wallet and climbed down to the coffee vending machine. Instead of thinking about the sweet vanilla flavor of coffee, this time my mind was blank and the only thing I could see was the filthy opening from where the coffee is dispensed. Yikes! How come I never noticed it before!! I thanked God for stopping me from drinking THAT!
Guess what? I am still hungry. For something else. Something sinful. There are several other vending machines next to the coffee machine with all sorts of...you know what - JUNK! I inserted my dollar waiting for my snack, but the snack (read as chips) did not come out. It was stuck!! "Not again!" I thought. So, I went upstairs and grabbed another dollar from my wallet and walked straight back to the vending machine again. This time I approached another vending machine and went with a safe bet - my favorite Cheetos :) Cheetos always reminds me of Kurkure we get in India, only a little bland version. I grabbed my packet and walked upstairs as my was mouth watering.
As I was walking upstairs, I took a look at the ingredients. I was shocked to read what all was in there. Take a look.
90% of corn and soy products in the USA are genetically-modified. Besides, it also has Monosodium Glutamate (which is MSG - popularly known as ajinomoto in Indo-Chinese cuisine), and none of the ingredients are fit for consumption. The only real thing in it is Cheese - why do you think they flash it on their package in bold?
I came to my desk and threw the un-opened package in the garbage. I was not hungry anymore.
